DO I NEED A DOCTOR'S REFERRAL?
You do NOT need a doctor's referral! If you already have a doctor's referral then bring it with you, but you do not need one to use our services.
IS THERAPY COVERED BY MANITOBA HEALTH?
No, our services are not covered by Manitoba Health, however we direct bill through many private insurance companies. Workers Compensation Board, Manitoba Public Insurance, Blue Cross, Sunlife, Greenshield, Great West Life etc. Please ask us about your insurance company.
HOW LONG ARE THE APPOINTMENTS?
Initial Assessments - 60 minutes
Pelvic Floor Initial Assessments - 60 -90 minutes
Follow Up Appointments - 30-60 minutes
Pelvic Floor Follow Up - 30-45 minutes
Acupuncture - 30 minutes
*Times vary depending on the injury and treatment required.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT ON MY FIRST VISIT?
You can expect your initial assessment to be around 60 minutes long. We will get you to fill out a form to gather your demographic and health information then you will be brought to a treatment room where we will perform a physical assessment and treatment. If you are more comfortable having a family member or loved one attend your appointment please bring them along.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Depending on the area being treated - various amounts of undress are required. If it is a lower extremity issue please bring runners and shorts. A T-shirt/Tank top or loose fitting clothing are ideal for upper extremity assessments. If you are unsure what to bring - please ask your therapist!
Other items include:
- Insurance information (Claim number for MPI/WCB)
- Imaging reports: MRI, X-ray, CT (if applicable)
